Everyone is capable of lying, betrayal, and violence, which are basic parts of human nature. I agree with this statement. I believe this way because people will sometimes do these for the great or good. Some people will lie to their friends for their benefit. Everyone is capable of these traits because their will probably be a time in one's life that one of these traits will be needed.

Anticipating our next book
If you are in a position of power, you are happy. I agree and disagree with this statement. I believe this way because it depends on what type of power you have. If you are a dictator or a tyrant, you can have what ever you want that pleases you. What if you are the Dean of Students and have to expel a kid that you liked, this would probably leave you unhappy.

ReplyDeleteI think that if you are in a position of power than it is easier for you to be happy but that alone does not do it. I also concur with the idea that everyone is capable of lying and violence.
