Seven more days until Super Bowl Sunday. The biggest televised event of the year with great commercials, superb halftime performances, and usually a good football game. I am very excited for this like I am every year and can't wait until kickoff.
It looks like it is going to be a very good game against the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons. New England is the favorite but only be three points. This is going to be a good matchup between the two quarterback Tom Brady, who is playing for his fifth Super Bowl ring with the Patriots and Matt Ryan who is the number one vote for this year's MVP right now. I am not really rooting for anybody but I just hope it winds up to be a good game. I also think I am going to see a lot of funny and entertaining commercials and a good halftime show. This is what I am looking for next Sunday.

Reading Response to ATDPI
This book has not really interested me yet. I hope the book will start to be a little more interesting for me since I may have to write about it a couple of times or do different assignments with it. I think the book is about to get a lot more interesting for me since I left off when Junior is about to go to a different school.
This is a highly rated book so there is a good chance I will eventually get to enjoy it. Some of the chapters have held my attention which I think is good because some of those chapters may come back up later on the book. This is what I think of this book so far and I hope the book will become more interesting for me.

Research Topic
My research question is What are Muslim beliefs? This topic is interesting because it gives more details to what Muslims believe in and how they express their beliefs. I choose this topic because it interested me when we went over the topic in World History earlier this year. This issue matters because this is one of the major religions in the World and people should know what their beliefs are so they don't discriminate somebody.
Muslims have a sacred book called the Qur'an that holds verses and teachings that Muslims follow. Islam was founded by Muhammad whose teachings are the Qur'an's verses and teachings. Muslims also have five laws that they should accomplish in their lifetime and those are called the Five Pillars of Islam. This is what I think of my topic and why it is important.

Reflection of Myself
Something that I learned about myself last semester was that I procrastinated a lot. I would plan to my work at the time I wanted to but wound up doing later in the day. I would particularly do this on the weekends and I would find myself doing homework hours later which I regretted immediately. When I did this it also affected me later in the week because I would plan to work ahead a little bit but didn't have the time.
I plan to manage my time better this semester by realizing that it is better to do my work in the afternoon than late at night. I also think I will have less distractions due to the end of the NFL season and basketball coming to an end. I hope I accomplish these goals so I will not be pressed for time so much and I will have more time to study for tests and quizzes in advance.

Free Post 1/17: Christmas
This year's winter break was pretty good for me. I went to visit my grandparents in Pass Christian, Mississippi on December 23. I opened presents there on Christmas eve that were from my Mom's side of the family. After I visited with my grandparents I headed back to Baton Rouge for Christmas the next morning.
I woke up on Christmas day and was ready for presents and lunch at my Aunt's house. I got an iPhone 7, some money, and clothes for Christmas. At about eleven clock I went to my Aunt's house and had a very good meal. After I ate lunch and visited at my Aunt's house, I headed back to home to relax for the rest of the day.
Research Update
My research has gone ok so far. It was easy for me to find a lot of valuable sources but hard to find the two primary sources. I have about 15 note cards right now and have a good plan to get to 35. I feel ok right now. I hoped right now that I would have a couple more notecards.
I'm going to try to have about thirty notecards by tonight. I also think I need to find more valuable topics from the sources I have already looked through. This is how my research has been and how it will hopefully be.
